I love how the referee let Brighton waste time for 88 minutes without doing anythin about it. Then we score and the referee rewards them for their own timewasting by adding on four minutes. He could have added a couple of minutes for our substitutions and that should have been that.

Brighton gave their all. They were heroic in their defending to be fair. Boring way to play but Houghton has to find a way. 4 losses and 1 drawn when playing like this, you can see why he sets them up this way.

fudging thrilled with that. Would have been absolutely disgusted if we hadn’t won but I couldn’t see us getting one.

They were very hard to play against because they literally camped on the 18 yard line and showed no ambition and we couldn’t find any openings or pockets of space.

Thought Llorente was the wrong choice but may not have made much difference. Thought Eriksen looked for the ball all night and what a fudging cracker.

3 points and move on. Saturday will be more open.
