67k looks poor in that stadium but it's still a big number. Don't forget also, general sale was restricted.
Saying that a good 10% of that number must have come from Dortmund. We were directly above them and though a mate got peed off with their drummers I could not help but be impressed as well as a little envious the way they out-noised us most of the game. Watching them collectively jumping in unison also added greatly to the spectacle.
I was sat in SW corner of Club Wembley and couldn't help but be impressed with their sheer energy, even when they went 3-1 down.
Even after 3 matches sat in the same seat it still feels like a strange place, doesn't help that the 4 seats to my right have been empty for every game so far The 2 rows in front of me were almost completely deserted tonight too, which made for a good view but not conducive to a raucous atmosphere.
I've long thought Pulisic would be fantastic at ours...
Thought they get 3000 same as all sides
No that's premier league directive these days I believe. 10% for away fans up to a max of 3k. Not sure what Champions league is. But they must have had 6-7k
I'm in the SW corner of Club Wembley too and have found the same, a number of seats to my left in my row and there are a larger number of (the same) seats have remained empty in the first couple of rows.
Block 231What block you in?
I've brought some club tickets for the pool game and we're in 209
I keep saying this when people moan about our refs, do not watch a lot of European football but when I do 9 times out of 10 ours are betterWhat a great evening! Dortmund looked a really good side and outpressed us in a big way in the first half. Couldn't believe we were 2-1 up at half time and couldn't see us winning the match at that time. But Poch is consistently now showing what a great manager he is and just tweaked it slightly in the 2nd half with the wing backs encouraged to play further forward. In the end we could have won by more.
Superb performances from Harry, Toby, Jan and Ben Davies and really promising performances from Sanchez (great in the first half and Aurier (brilliant in the 2nd half). It feels that the summer signings this year have improved the team not just the squad
Only negatives were the match officials, why are the refs in the European games so poor. Can't believe the number of offside decisions that they got wrong for both sides and the ref was too easily sucked in by the falling to ground of the Dortmund players, culminating in the farcical sending off of Jan.
I thought that too, still good though but not as many as I thoughtOnly thing disappointing about tonight was the attendance. 67343. Should have been 80k at least.
As did the Dortmund support tooThought atmosphere was decent for a Wembley game tbh. The game helped that!
Wonderful second half. Davies my mom, but Tobes was awesome too
I've long thought Pulisic would be fantastic at ours...
Yet even as the replay was frozen to reveal Pulisic was a good yard offside BT's co-commentator Owen Hargreaves - who btw just happened to be have been brought up in Germany - claimed it looked okay to him.I see a few Dortmund fans complain about their 2-2 goal being disallowed on Twitter. It wasn't offside, but their goal that stood should've been flagged! In the lead up to their goal, their left sided player, can't remember who, was in an offside position before crossing it over to the right, before Yarmolenko finished. They only showed one replay of it during the match, and I heard no mention of it after, but looking at t he game again now it's clear as day.
Not that it matters, but just in case anyone's giving you grief about Spurs being lucky with that offside decision.
I really fancied 3-1 but went with 3.5 goals instead - still paid for my ticket but could have been better. As did the Dortmund support too
I backed 3-1 at 14/1 too so a profitable and enjoyable evening
