Result doesn't really reflect the performance. Very happy to ride out 2-1 though. But we need to change something around to get into the game and get some possession. Big decisions for Poch now.

Winks on for Dembele is the obvious one for me.
 
I'd agree with it. If Abaumeyang hadn't gone for it maybe Lloris would've pushed out further and been closer to Pulisic when he did take on the shot.

Anyways, amazing half, barely time to even talk in this forum. Dier is a risk, but he's got through games on an early yellow before. Our counters have to be spot on though, because I can't see us being given time to play our methodical build up play.
 
Seems to me like we're according to plan. Wish we had more possession, but it seems like we're to move it forward as fast as we can at all cost to catch them out, and losing possession a lot because of it.

We need to step it up though, try to keep possession a bit, slow down the game if we can. Otherwise we'll get stung in the second half. 72-28 possession Dortmund.
 
Why is Aurier so slow to get back after failing a tackle or interception? Pochettino needs to put that on the list of things that will get him headbutted.

Add to that slow to get out towards the end there. Shaky first half from him. Needs to improve, if not we have Trippier on the bench.
