***OMT - Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa, Sun May 3rd, 7pm, Villa Park ***

As good a time as any to play them, surely they're going to have one eye on the semi final and hopefully get a bit leggy in the second half.

Have we got any academy players we could put on the bench that are genuine options, must have a winger or striker who's worth 20 minutes? Olusesi looked pretty tidy against Liverpool but think he's more a midfielder.

So little magic in the team. We have to hope we get luck in my view. Villa are a well drilled unit. We are not.

Just don't get to excited post Wolves I feel.

And someone needs to break Matty Cash.

You hammered RDZ for speaking highly of MG but you openly call for someone to break Matty Cash.

Maddison apparently was pushing to play against Wolves, but was told no.

I think we will see him at some point this weekend.

I'd play Porro on the right wing if Udogie is back and Spence can go to RB

I think a point we're missing is that it's not always about players' ability. What makes a team successful is often a combination of good coaching and positive momentum. Sometimes, all you need is a tactic that fits the players you have at your disposal.

Think about Leicester's Premier League winning squad for a moment. Apart from Mahrez and Kanté (you may add Vardy to the list, although I never saw the appeal myself), the rest were bang average players, certainly not any better or worse than what we have at the moment. Ranieri was good coach too, but despite that incredible feat, I don't think he'd be in anyone's Top 10 football managers of the 21st century, let alone of all time.

Right people in the right place, a bit of luck, stringing a few wins together and suddenly, something clicks. I'm not saying it WILL happen, but it COULD happen. Regardless of the players we have available, the margins are so small in the Premier League that even a minor incident could turn things around.
