Random post for this thread, but what is going on with the Spurs official website? There are stories from four years ago high up on the page. And sometimes it won't open at all.
 
I can't figure out why anyone thinks they will hear anything of real interest at a press conference, they are simply PR stunts clubs have been forced into, there are only 2 types one where a winning teams manager has his arse kissed or where a manager under pressure is asked questions which can have a negative spin put on them. Do people really believe any manager is going to give anything away before a match or say xxxxxxx is acting like a prick or is playing rubbish?

There are way too many press engagements for the manager to do these days. A presser before every game and the presser afterwards, when you have 3 games a week, crazy! It would drive me insane having the same rubbish questions all the time.

So, we start with a player who wants to leave and is very obviously playing to avoid injury.

Makes a lot of sense and sends a great message to the squad.

Let's see how it works out. He's certainly put in high energy and effective performances under Mourinho, so maybe he thinks that there are other reasons for his lackluster performance against Liverpool.
