I'd try to stick to as close to our first choice XI as possible for this game and against Monaco. Then we rotate a few players in for the Sunderland game. Vorm retains his place for this one because of form in the last two games.

We tend to struggle in the league after international breaks. Hope we will do much better this time. We have a mix record against Stoke, winning just 1 of our last 4 matches against them. But we did beat them 4-0 away last season. So, there is no reason why we cannot win this match.

We are still waiting for goals from our strikers this season. Hope Kane and Janssen will be able to get into scoring form in this match, especially Janssen. I think Janssen needs to work smart rather than hard in front of goal. He should learn from Lamela how to go into goal scoring positions. Lamela has been in great form for us and Argentina for the past 10 matches or so from last season. So, he should start in this match even if he comes back late from Argentina duty.

Our midfield have not been very convincing so far this season. Too bad Dembele is still suspended. Hope Sissoko will come and improve our midfield immediately, especially on the creativity part. We have badly lacked a creative player in midfield especially with Eriksen badly out of form. It is now up to Sissoko to start creating chances for us.

Our defence are still struggling to get back their best form of last season. Hope Vertonghen and Alderweireld will get back to their best in this match. Vorm did well in goal when Lloris was out injured. I think it is a bit harsh on Vorm to give back his place now that Lloris is back fit again. Just hope Vorm will keep up his best form whenever he is needed in future.

We had a comfortable win over Stoke last time. But can see this match being a tough one for us. Hope we will put up a good match and get the all-important win.
