Don’t think I’ve seen us play and press as well as that for a long time with no reward
That was almost… almost great

Best half of football this season but no final ball or finishing.....thats going to kill us this season
Mrs Vert
Chris Armstrong
Until that changes we are going to struggle to win a game

Joe Kinnear
you can also see exactly how the opposition will score
it'll be an inside channel run, one will be a header from a routine set piece where we don't even contest the header and the last will be a shot from just outside the box by an untracked man that goes straight though the keepers soft wrists
Bar the disappointing Brentford game, I've enjoyed watching us play football far more this season than at any point last couple of seasons (low bar I know!).
Scoring goals is the most difficult and often last piece to come together when implementing a new style, I'm certainly going to be more patient with how it pans out than some.
As a side note, hadn't really seen much of Senesi at Bournemouth but the couple of games I've seen him for us I like

Joe Kinnear
easily our best player so far
Muttley
Vedran Corluka
They should have had 3 or 4 yellows. This is typical PGMOL.
Yeah, I've seen worse. Our buildup isn't too bad, we're just so harmless in front of goal.
The side/system genuinely confuses me, there are definitely moments/spells where we look unplayable.
Part of me says, same show, different day
Part of me says, Solanke/Gallagher/Kudus, at least one of them should have scored, how do you compensate for that?
Positive view
- Gallagher's best game for us by a mile
- Gray and Bergvall back to looking like they absolutely deserve a place in team
- Kudus & Savio beat their man at fudging will ..
- Some of the passing, JVH push and run stuff is really nice.
2nd half needs to be more of the same, use the subs well/early, take a fudging chance and don't do anything stupid (they should have less legs than us)

There was some very very good football from us that half, so frustrating we're so close to blowing a team away early doors but same old same old.

Based on the bar he set with the Gallagher card I'd agree, without that not so much.
There was a tackle on Kudus (very soon after Gallagher's yellow) where the ref played on, inexcusable that it wasn't a card after the play.
