I have wondered about that temptation. If TV money begins to stagnate, they might be tempted to monetarize the VAR breaks so there are the equivalent of time-out breaks for ads.
Having the 12 subs on the bench, though, is not different from the international game.
This Ad is brought to you by Dulux; you could be watching us dry.Watching the A-League here in Australia they have ad breaks when there is a substitution.
I can't remember any delay. Must be a matter of seconds!
Do you reckon it will be ticket holders only allowed in the fan zones ??This whole event is starting to reek of a stitch up.
Liverpool are awarded the home dressing room even though Spurs are designated the home team.
Now, I see Liverpool are granted the fan zone closer to the stadium. If Spurs fans wanted to walk to the stadium - not THAT far - they have to walk past the Liverpool zone. Trouble guaranteed.
Good that UEFA continue to try and stamp out the unwanted elements from the match day experience. The fan zones close at 6pm. There are no screens there to watch the game (for anyone without a ticket).
So 50k fans without tickets rampage through central Madrid to try and find a bar to watch the game, amazing planning thatThe fan zones close at 6pm. There are no screens there to watch the game (for anyone without a ticket).

Get your spot earlyYeah. Best bet if you don't have a ticket I think is stay central and don't bother with the fan zone. I think that's what I'll do.
I'm sure @scaramanga will be perched up in the Plaza Margaret Thatcher.Apparently our fanzone is in Plaza De Colon
About 40 minutes on the metro from the stadium or a 15-20 minute Uber

Edit: or 5 hrs when you've been on it all day.
Gave the scousers the one without fountains?I was going to crack the obvious "4rse end of Madrid" joke but judging by the shops around the Plaza de Colon I can see exactly why we got it and not the scousers
