Winning mentality. 3 nil is no challenge so with half an eye on tougher challenges ahead we decided to put ourselves under pressure!
Positives. Lloris played well. We have some nice attacking options with Lamela and Moura adding to our previous seasons. Kane scores and looked sharp second half.
Is it me or is Winks moving better than before his injury but not passing as well?
Sissoko did well, he is becoming Zokora with the pace to get into good areas but a lack of technique and or composure means it almost sparks a counter attack.
We need a CM in Jan and review the full back situation in the summer. Trippier only offers an offensive threat against poor teams or with a 3rd centre back covering him...I also worry that the WC may have gone to his head a bit. Aurier has the tools but needs to show some maturity in his decision making this season. Rose when fit is top drawer IMO, but he needs to put a run of games together to stake his claim. Davies on top form is a solid left back, but for a team that dominates most games we need more offensively. Something has happened this season where he’s not even offering the solid bit.
Anyone feeling upset check the league table out, we are picking up points playing poorly,

With fitness and form issues, I'd just go and get the best centre-mid we possibly can. Just one player, we don't need a lot of upheavel mid-season imo. Our full-backs, I think we can ride out their sh1tty form. Hopefully Rose gets back and stays fit, Davies goes up a notch to fight for his place. Aurier ahs actually been alright this season, so perhaps it's time for him to take over from Tripps. And if we play 3 at the back, I think Trippier is a huge asset in that system.

Even so, give it to Lamela. I am fine with how Sissoko played tonight (and he's had a good season so far) but finishing/assisting is not his thing. He's like our version of a forward in rugby, just do the grunt work and make yards for the players with the skills to finish and score.

I could say that about most in the team today. Stop this brick ffs! He isn't the only one who misses a pass. What about Kane on the edge of the box, with two players unmarked in the box. Instead Kane blasts it into orbit. Was barely mentioned! Kane played like a donkey again. Sissoko didn't.
He's like a ground-based version of route one.
Kane doing that is what got him the golden boot.
If Sissoko were Pirlo I could forgive the odd fudge up. But he's not. He's not even Ali Dia.
We should just say to Lamela that whenever Moussa gets ahead of steam, just run with him and try and keep 5 yards away. Then when we get 30 yards from their goal, Sissoko has an easy offload and Lamela can do his thing. And Erik looks fairly quick this season, he's got this.

Kane had a weird one. Looked terrible until he scored and then sprung into life and looked like his old self for a while.
He needs to stay nearside of the defence though.
Either that or tell Sissoko to shoot every time and it'll turn out as a perfect through ball.

It was a short while.
Sounds like some sort of NFL thing. After Trippier phucked up, Sissoko should have run straight at him from the kick-off and "sacked" him.

Was really upset how bloody open we were and how easy it was for wolves to create chances...we needed Victor in the middle BIG time...
Hey ho I think we look unimpressive atm but we seem to be racking up a healthy points tally with a very impressive away record...
We really are crying out for a top class dm/cm who can run a game and let winksey focus on his distribution.
