Need to remember that we play Leicester on Saturday lunchtime, and presumably we'll only land back in the UK in the early hours of Thursday morning. I'd therefore like to see us ensure that we have say 4-5 players who we plan to start against Leicester not starting in Athens.

Difficult to guess exactly what the line-up will be given we have a few players who are borderline fit, but there's no reason why we can't bring in Davies for Rose, Dele and Moura come in for say Lamela and Son, Ndombele for Sissoko etc. It's rotating, but doesnt weaken the team at all.

Ideally, I'd also leave a couple of those rotated out at home rather than drag them all the way to Greece so that they're fresher for Leicester. For example, we dont need to take all 6 of Sissoko, Winks, Dier, Wanyama, Ndombele and Skipp to Greece - why not leave Wanyama and Sissoko with they're feet up at home? Probably cant do in other positions given injuries though

I expect to see Dele, Davies and Moura start. I have doubts about N'Dombele starting as I don't think he knows his role well enough yet. I half expect to see us throw in Dier as part of the double pivot as it's an away game.

Have you been drinking? It’s the champions league OMT, not the Colchester one.
Don't complain when all our players are injured come February. People say Poch doesn't rotate enough. This is one of the easiest 4-5 fixtures we'll have this season.

Bar the top 10 or so, nowadays CL group opponents are no better than EL ones

Outside of the easier domestic cup games, I think that rotation is best done with a constant movement of a maximum of three players and trying to time it so that your best players are all available for the biggest games. Underestimating opponents in the Champions League can be costly and I doubt that Poch will do that.

Same old delusional disrespect of opponents, Olympiakos have a very good record at home in european games and are the best supported team in Greece, to think it's going to be a stroll in the park is a big mistake. I would expect us to win if we field a strong side but it wont be easy.

Their fans are known to be mental as well. Should be good fun for our travelling lot.

I pretty much agree with that. Think this might be an exception because of players returning from injuries that would have been regular starters if not for those injuries.

I think you may have missed my sarcasm.
