OMT Spurs vs Geordies 7.30 Tuesday 10th Feb

Vic
Gray, Dragusin, VDV, Spence
Gallagher, Palhinha, Sarr
Odobert, Solanke, Simons

That's a pretty decent team but maybe not at top end PL level. We then have Palhinha who can step back into defence if required. We have Biss to come into the engine room, and perhaps Souza based on the weekend performance. Then it's Tel and Muani to add the power up front.

I reckon it's a just about a strong enough squad that we can use 16 players during the 90 however you arrange them.

I hope Spence is not playing at 80%.

I can picture in my mind, some lovely interplay between Xavi and Odobert and Solanke scoring.

Equally I can foresee Saudi Sportswashing Machine forcing the ball towards the hapless "Dragusin and Vicario vortex of doom" wherein balls are shanked, missed, scraped into danger and flapped at, as a smiling Toon player can't believe his luck has finally changed...

STOP IT

We are winning this, screw the Toon and their token fans with their shirts off. Need to be positive and on the front foot, no cheater/Joelinton in the middle of the park should give us confidence

Isn’t it something silly like Frank has never beaten Howe? Records are made to be broken. Into these club-shop-or-topless-nothing-inbetween weirdos*

*for balance I’ve been to Saudi Sportswashing Machine and found the locals incredibly friendly, but for a one club city a lot of them wear Saudi Sportswashing Machine shirts

It is going to be a bit of a wet slipery affair.

Have some concerns with Dragusin needing time to get up to speed. But he can't. He has to get in there from the off and be on it.

Looking forward to the game. Despite our poor league performance, we've been playing okay. COS

I would have liked to have seen the pace of Tel against Trippier.

My other concern is that when you start Xavi on the left there is no creativity in the middle with Sarr, Gallagher and Bissouma.

Just three attacking players again at home to a struggling team. Sigh.

At least with Bissouma we have a ball progresser in there. All be it with the risks that comes with for him.
