OMT Spurs vs Geordies 7.30 Tuesday 10th Feb

I'm feeling upbeat for a change. I think we can do them, they are as brick as we are. Having Dom back will make the difference - second half City performance, but over 90 mins, incoming. We'll go a point behind them and Spam will lose to Utd. Then nearly a fortnight to prepare for the NLD.
COYS!
(PS: I am sober) :D

I’ve got tickets for the NLD so you can forget getting anything out of that one. 😀

We joke about it at times, but this actually is a legit must win for me.

Hopefully all of their injury doubts are confirmed and those players miss out. I thought we actually did ok against them at St James’s for once, unfortunately we’re usually worse at home.

Do t care how we do it, but just win it.

Kevin Danso is still “weeks away” from a return from a toe injury, so Radu Dragusin could make his first start in over a year.

Djed Spence is fit to return after two games out with a calf injury, in some good news for Spurs ahead what feels like another big game for Thomas Frank.

Frank said: "We lose two players but we get Spence back and I think Dragusin looked good when he came back in, so I know we will put a very competitive team out tomorrow as well."

On Danso, Frank said: “He met the consultant. It's going forward, but it's still weeks before he's available.”

With Spence and Brazilian left-back Souza fit and available, Frank could opt to revert to a three-man defence after utilising a 4-3-3 against United.

However, with Souza yet to start since signing from Santos for £13million in January, Frank is likely to play Spence at left-back and Archie Gray at right-back.

After the United defeat, Spurs are now just six points from the relegation zone and are still searching for their first league win of 2026.

Tottenham predicted XI (4-3-3): Vicario, Gray, Dragusin, Van de Ven, Spence, Gallagher, Palhinha, Sarr, Odobert, Solanke, Simons

Biggest game of Frank’s time with us. If he loses this he will be on very rocky ground, I fear.

Yeah, I think this is spot on.

This time he may not even be forgiven for another officiating travesty, the significant injury toll, or one or two of his players having their mini meltdowns on pitch. There has been so much that has gone against him but as we all know, nobody likes a victim.

Key man for me is Dragusin. When I look around the team I see a lot of commitment and talent. Young Gray has equipped himself really wekk at RB and we know Spence can play there or on the left. Gallagher is going through the gears and is making a difference. Solanke is looking sharper each game. However, we need Dragu to put in a solid performance along with these guys.

I think we'll get a draw.

Saudi Sportswashing Machine in a similar position to us with form and players out. If we don't win tonight i think Frank will get the sack - it will give the caretaker nearly 2 weeks before the next game vs Arsenal.

Exactly my thinking. Panic will begin to set in with the board should we lose tonight, I fear.
