OMT Spurs vs Geordies 7.30 Tuesday 10th Feb

Even the senior players we have available are developing. VDV, awesome at times, but quite young at 24 for a CB, and prone to a mistake (should have done better for their goal for me). Xavi, 22, moments of sheer class, but not able to drive the ball into the net like he will in the future.

Bissouma...what can you say, awareness is never there, and confidence is easily lost.

Spence, promising moments, but not a settled seasoned pro yet. He's 25 but hasn't played at lot of top flight football.

Vicaro - shakey at the best of times.

Solanke - shy, he's doing okay. Probably the most grounded of our senior players.

Gallagher - just joined and needs time to bed in.

The players just can't be arsed (which falls on Frank as well) they look completely unaware of the situation they find themselves in league wise.

Doubled with the players that are trying, some are just not up to the level required

The complete lack of anything in the window will come back and haunt us.
I see Pahlinha warming up. On what fudging planet does Bissouma start ahead of him.

A fella frozen out for months and behaving like a macaron starting ahead of a fella who, while limited on the ball, has been a model pro. In one of our most important games of the season.

Makes Frank look weak that he ever included Biss at all. I’d sack Frank at half time personally.

Just a load of stuff was happening that doesn’t happen if things are ‘right’. Something is really off with this squad. Their head is not in the game. Frank will likely need to go but it’s beyond the manager when such basic mistakes are being made.

For their offside goal, our two central midfielders charging to the ball and leaving a free man to thread a through ball…just ridiculous. If you’re concentrating, locked in and playing as a team, that doesn’t happen. Equally their actual goal does not happen to any team that is properly focused. The guy making a header getting his own rebound and scoring is utterly pathetic from our point of view.

Just release Bissouma.

Honestly, this is like the situation Poch came into where he needed to rip it all and turf players out, but I think we’re actually in an even worse position this time. I’d keep 4 maybe 5 players, couldn’t give a toss about the rest.

So here's the script: We'll change things up a little for the second half, come out guns blazing, waste a few massive chances, get denied another stonewall penalty, before we gift them a second goal put of nowhere. Then we'll regroup, push them back again, get one back, look threatening for five minutes, before we retract back in our shell and never look close to breaking through their defensive wall.

Until the 92nd minute, when we'll equalize from another overhead kick, after which we'll praise the comeback and believe this was the turning point.

Dont get me wrong, it’s still not all on Frank, but we’re absolutely going down currently and if this board keep being this ignorant it’s happening this season.

If a new manager bounce gets us a few wins and gets us over the line then go for it, fudge knows who, but this isn’t working and that half screamed “ahh we’ll be alright”.

I’ve been all in for giving TF until the end of the season unless it gets desperate - but it’s now getting desperate, unfortunately.

Anything less than a win tonight and it’s hard to make any sort of case for him staying. I’m not sure a change will achieve very much - the quality of the squad is so poor and has been dumped through the floor by injuries - but it’s getting to the ‘Got to try something different’ stage.

I think you’re right until the last bit, they’ll win 2-1 and we’ll say we just aren’t getting the luck.

Just confidence, and missing romero and paulinha.

Exactly this, I’m not anti Frank. I think he’s been dealt a brick hand in many ways.

But we’re absolutely going down if nothing changes, so as much as I dont think it’s all on him, change it, pray we stay up, and this club really needs to sort itself in the summer and a couple of young kids for 15 million isn’t sorting itself out.
