***OMT - Spurs vs FC Barcelona***

Well it was that or an equalizer. So poor from Sissoko, and that was always gonna be a goal.

There's no glory in losing, but at least we showed a bit of bravery and spirit in that second half. After being 2-0 down against Barca, with several of our key players out.

It could've been worse.
 
Probably the most frustrating game i’ve Watched in a long time.
Commited 3 huge clusterfuc ks and they punished us. For 80 minutes of the game we hustled them and made them very uncomfortable, scored two great goals, too.
End up with fudge all. The players need to out that effort in during PL games!

Pochs stubbornness is an issue.
We are no longer the up and coming dynamic "best of the rest", we are now one of the "worst of the best".....the best impose their gameplan and are ruthless. If it isn't working, they impose their plan b etc
 
We were outclassed for most of the match, but at least we fought in the 2nd half. Got no real complaints other than Hugo making a couple of poor decisions and Sissoko for their last goal, phucking awful player he is.

Wanyama, Winks and Dier all did pretty well, Kane is definitely returning to form. Davies did ok, Lamela was terrific I thought. Son probably disappointed me the most of any of our players, but maybe he needs a few more games.
 
I'm fudging furious with Lloris! Completely useless today! We could have played without a GK today and had a better result!
Gazzaniga should start every game now!
 
I think we put a go show ‘considering’ the players missing and playing the club team in the world over the past decade.
So I’m happy and loverpool lost

Special mention for Messi who is the best player I have ever seen in my lifetime.

Winks, Kane and Moura who never stopped.
Nice to see Hugo back :mad:. Must be still on the sauce!
 
I didn't see the first half, but thought we fought well in the second, considering the circumstances (drew the second half, didn't we). Kane and Lamela particularly, wow, imagine if the entire team put that effort in. Thought Alderweireld and Winks did well in the second half too. Lloris to fault for two goals, so that's the game for us really - and Messi, obviously. You just can't stop that guy, what a fudging genius. Barcelona without him, and it'd be an entirely different game.

That Kane goal is excellent thought. Great team play before the goal, and ah, great goal by Kane.

Hopefully we have less injuries for the game at Nou Camp. Looking forward to that.
