Yes it's worked and I think at home he's great there but we're playing away from home against a team that plays 5 in the middle. Actually forget it we're never going to agree on this.VDV RW.

Why is everyone making up formations we have never used, when we could just go 442 and play our in form, top scorer? Feels like people are going out of their way to shun the formation.
Bizarre.

Do you actually believe that?Probably not....but home-away..a pitch is a pitch at the end of the day. It either works or it doesnt
442 worked at home to Stevenage so it must work away to Everton right!
Do you actually believe that?
Alarming and baffling are better words to describe that particular post ( not the poster who seems a decent guy). That's an amazing post.

Oh come on now Totman. You don't see that there are various other factors that play a part in how a formation works depending on where you're playing. Yes a pitch is a pitch but there's a massive difference playing home or away. The emphasis is usually on the home team to attack so playing everton at the Lane is a totally different ball game then playing them away. They can play the exact same 11, same formation and I bet there would still be a marked difference when comparing the performances and style of play.Dont you?
You think a system will work brilliantly in one stadium, but not another?
