You think? We were making openings but our passing wasn’t clean enough. At 1 goal down we needed to improve our passing, let the players who are not match sharp but we’re getting into decent positions come good. And we needed to address Davies who almost gave away another couple of goals and probably Winks too. Bringing on Toby and Hojberg and we would have had a much better second half.

I've defended Sanchez a lot, he has the metrics to be a brilliant CB, but if he continues to ignore the coaching thats being poured into him, he only has himself to blame for the inevitable consequences.

Mistakes starting to creep into Davies game. He offers very little going forward and if he is not rock solid defensively then he offers nothing.

Dele needs to move on for everyones sake, even a loan move. He looks totally shot of confidence. He won't get it back sitting on the bench and there's no way he can be played.

I know it’s hard when players aren’t playing together regularly but very few ‘staked a claim tonight’. The subs didn’t make a huge difference though, we need to find a balance between those who run around and press and those that don’t shut the bed or keep their head down when in the final third.
Thought Aurier did well for the most part.

Sanchez again getting pelters tonight, but he has always been best with a strong partner. Davies is not a back for CB (he only ever works in a 3) so very very harsh to single him out IMO. He saved us a goal after that poor Winks back-pass.

What has the Poch era got to do with tonight? What's the point in even going into such a hypothetical? I genuinely don't understand your intention.

Tonight we were a combination of rudderless and arrogant in the first half. In the second we were just poor despite the huffing and puffing.
