He was played on the wrong side tonight and it showed. I'm presuming that Mourinho didn't want to lose Alderweireld's crossfield, raking passes but we saw the downside in that decision with the OG.

Fair points but I think rather than it being a case that we were comfortable and individual mistakes turned the tide, we fell apart as a team and the mistakes followed.

I think we were cruising at 3-0, playing well within ourselves trying to manage the game and still had great opportunities from Kane. Then Sissoko happens and it’s panic stations and the team went to brick, individual error after individual error. Not just the ones that led to goals either.

I'd rather we play Davies as a LCB than Sanchez, if our new recruit has anything about him we could see Sanchez get phased out before being sold in the Summer

It's Aurier, Sanchez and Sissoko that are the main culprits.
Their decision making is flawed.

In fairness there is not a decent defense in the Prem thus far this season.

This hurt.

I genuinely thought Bale was passing that into the corner and could not believe it went wide. Had their comeback happened 10 mins earlier we win that game back IMO.

fudge it. I’ve calmed down a bit. Feel brick, feel stupid supporting this fudging club who breaks my heart time and time again.

I expect to get pelters for this but isn’t it great to have it. With everything else going on in the world, for 90 or 180 minutes a week, we can get completely lost in it. Over here they’re about to put heavier restrictions on us but at least I have Spurs to look forward to every weekend.
