I agree, I wouldn't be surprised if the only change to the starting line up was Dele for Lamela

Tough on Lamela but would make sense. Anyone who doesn't perform gets replaced - bar Aurier and Kane who we don't really have backup for. Maybe Foyth when fit.

I don’t think it would be tough on Lamela. He was poor on Friday and ruined several good counter attacking opportunities with his insistence of Getting it on to his left foot and then doing three rollovers of the ball with said left foot before looking up to see what pass is on.

I thought that he had a good game, he worked really hard and provided an outlet for our midfield but agree that it would've been improved had he released the ball earlier.

Would agree about Lamela's performance the other night, he works hard for sure but he holds onto the ball far too long and good defenders know just how to slow him down because he is so one footed.

Sorry - working hard should be a given for a PL footballer. His use of the ball in the key AM position was dire.

As I said in the Man Utd OMT, I suspect that Mourinho was satisfied with his performance and that he followed his instructions. Not releasing Son when he was through in the first half was criminal though.

We are winless in 7 matches now. We badly need to win this match to get back our winning form. Our London derbies against West Ham are always tough matches for us. In fact, we have failed to beat West Ham in our last 3 matches at home, drawing 1 and losing 2 of them. Can see this being another tough match. Hope Mourinho will use all his magic to get us the much needed win.

It seems like we will have all our attacking players back for this match. But wish we can drop Kane. He doesn't look fully fit and has been in bad form for sometime now. But just like Pochettino, don't think Mourinho will ever be brave enough to drop our only striker Kane. Others like Son, Moura, Alli and Lamela need to do their best to find the goals for us.

The season is going to finish but we still can't find our best midfield. We just lack the elusive defensive midfielder who can boss the midfield like Dembele used to. Sissoko, Winks or Ndombele just doesn't offer the same quality as Dembele. Wish we can buy a top class defensive midfielder next season.

Can't help but worried about our defence. With Alderweireld and Vertonghen getting old, we really don't have players who can defend as composed as them. Sanchez, Dier and Foyth are too error prone. As shown against ManU, Dier will always makes mistakes that will cost us valuable points. Wish we can get the best ouf of Alderweireld and Vertonghen in this match.

Since we are playing at home, anything other than a win will be a bad result for us. After all, we are winless in 7 matches and badly need a win. Let's hope we will turn up with the right team and mentality and get the win to stay in touch with the top 4.

Any team news yet ?

Glad we have overcome our injury problems but we need all the players get back their best form as well. This is going to be another tense London derby against West Ham. It will help us greatly if we can get an early goal to help us settle down but we need to kill the game off with more goals as well. Let's hope we will do enough to beat West Ham and get back into the top 4 race.

It's a disgrace, I can't remember the last time we went four months without a win.

And that is why we needed a piratical OMT to get us back on track!

I have previous. When we were going through another dodgy spell, I did the OMT for Bournemouth away - and we won 5-1 after going behind. More to the same tonight would be just what the doctor ordered.

Come on me hearties. Shiver me timbers and do it for @Yermiyahu who doubtless is looking down from on high with his regulation bowl of custard!!!

Oh Arrrrr - Lets be 'aving you. Don't let us down.

You've got form for only starting an OMT for easy games. Flat track bully.

I hope we don’t sit back and try to play on the counter. We need to start dominating teams like this and not score and put everyone behind the ball.
