I don’t think the shape helped, he was in there on his own against three of them, we had three cb’s behind him marking one player.

Eriksen has sat deeper with Dembele since Lamela came on and Fulham have moved one of the three further forward.

Dembele and Lamela were the difference makers... and that’s the worst I’ve seen Eriksen play in a very long time

Yeah it was the switch in shape that stemmed the flow IMO. The Lamela sub reversed the direction.

My thoughts are that at the moment, Kane and Dier bring relatively little to our game.

Yeah, easy as it is to say in hindsight though, the back three was wrong.

I reserve the right to moan about Poch's substitutions when they are too late and/or wrong.

And I reserve the right to say that today his subs were spot on, perfect.

And his line up was good - I agree that 3 at the back versus "just Mitrovich" is an issue, but it is nice to see those players on the pitch and we did outclass Fulham for 80% of that game.

We don't have oodles of depth, but when humanoids are fit we do have some depth with Winks, Dimples, Lamela all coming on and no need for Son, Rose, Aurier, Sissy.
