Jan also gives away a few fouls against the big strikers in those situations; long ball with his back to goal challenging the striker. There hard situations for any one to deal with.

Also thought the ref was a little harsh on a couple of them but yeah thought he was a bit fortunate not to give away a pen.

i actually think that wimmer is going to be a partner than jan to aldewereld, and aldewereld is going to be a top class goal scoring CB.

Maybe Poch had got him playing to his potential too which could be massive

eriksen put in a good shift too. lots of tackles and intercepts. he even looked faster in a few one-on-ones.

It is so nice to read this...I remember the AVB days, which lets face was not long ago...streams of posts coming in about not bothered about watching us, losing my love for spurs, feeling meh about the players...

for me his biggest achievement thus far has been how he has made us fans feel about watching Tottenham again...how we feel about our players, but greedy as I am I would like to see us finish the season with something to call our own and treasure, if we get a bit of luck, it could happen.

only saw highlights of this, can't really fault a 3-0 win but Wimmer looked a little clumsy in his tackles, I'm sure Toby will work with him in training to get him up to speed, I looked at Bassong and had to ask myself if he actually played for us, it just shows you how this team has progressed, another clean sheet, harry scored 2, sometimes you have to pinch yourself with how things are going.

He really does enjoy physical challenges a bit too much. Even when it is not needed.

Another great away day and another three points which we fully deserved, we have a bunch of players who really do play for each other and there are no prima donna players ( which we have not always been able to say). Poch really has done a great job by making these players understand that its not necessary to have the likes of a Bale, a Gazza, a Modric in the team to win games it can be done by all 11 players backing each other up and you can see that mentality and the joy when we score.
