***OMT: Mighty Spurs vs. Manure***

Brilliant. Just brilliant. So enjoyable, thought Rose was immense. But so many were. This team are a joy to watch... Who knows might still be champions.

A note on United. They have some really good youngsters at the club. This Fosu-Mensah is really good, Rashford, Borthwick Jackson, Martial, Depay. Very young side who could be primed for a manager like Poch (I said Like!!!) to start these guys and get them to buy into a philosophy. Even LVG to be fair could be the man, although young up front wtf.

Anyway f*** them. Finally we smashed them and it feels so good

The problem might be more with you how you see the game rather than with how he plays it...

He's been very important for us for quite some time now. If you couldn't appreciate what he did for us in the first half today that's not his fault.

To be fair to Cochise, I think he meant his end product rather than his overall play. There's no doubt we miss him when he doesn't play but we also miss Alli or Eriksen when they are off form. Massive improvement this season, it's just his goal count that needs to be higher.

I don't believe anyone would even consider not having him in the team, I just don't think he's our most important players as some have suggested.

First 70 minutes was a tight, scrappy game. Lots of misplaced passes, failed dribbles and careless losses of possession from both teams. But then suddenly, it all clicked into place for us. Great win and great to finally spank those fudgers after so long. Big call from Poch to bring back Vertonghen but I thought he was excellent, as were Rose, Eriksen and Lamela (bar that header obviously). I really think the extra half hour before kick off helped us, as it allowed the players time to get over the disappointment of the Leicester result and focus for this one.

Well, that's four points from Liverpool and United, two of our three hardest remaining games (on paper). Only Chelsea to go.

We're on 65 points. Anything above seven points from our last five games would see us surpass our PL record points total (currently at 72 in AVB's 12/13 season).

That would be monumental. Not only would that prove that we were one of the best teams *this* season (since a total like that would all but guarantee CL football and 2nd or 3rd place) but it would also show that we've made an *absolute* qualitative improvement that has surpassed anything we've done before, even in this most unpredictable of seasons. Win 3 out of our last five, and we get there. Win two and draw two of our last five, and we get there.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that the win against United affords us a lot of breathing space again while still allowing for us to surpass expectations with even an average performance over the final five games. Not to be scoffed at all.

Boom

Started off poorly

Became more and more comfortable

Met some great players

Gilxean and Chivers - Leicetser will win it

Graham Roberts - still there but is Leicetser to lose

Danny Rose - you serious mate, we will keep on winning

Didn't go today but amazing result and performance!

MoM goes to Lamela. I still don't think's he's our most important player as others have claimed, but more performances like that and he could be on of our top 3 most important players and was fantastic today!

Delighted for Lamela and a fantastic finish, needs to do that more often. He still gets a raw deal from some fans at games who give him far too much stick that is nowhere near deserved. A few more finishes like that will go a long way to shutting them up.

We missed him hugely last week and he was excellent today bar the header and couple of early touches that went astray.

I'd still give Eriksen my MOM, ran the show 2nd half.

If they appoint Mourinho, it'll probably be the death of all that.

Wow. I am still buzzing from today. A crazy 6 or 7 minutes capping off what was - eventually - a great performance. I was worried at the start - we looked off the pace, couldn't get our passing game going, gave up the ball too easily and just seemed to lack the intensity we normally play with.
But as the game wore on, we grew more and more into it and began stamping our authority. A thoroughly professional performance all in all. It has been said over and over, but this team simply does not give up. Even though we see it week in, week out, I still find myself amazed at the drive of these players. Danny Rose is just relentless. Lamela did have a poor start imo, but more than made up for it in the 2nd half. Dembele solid as ever. Eriksen creating. Alli did not really seem to click today, but then he scores. 3 goals, 3 different goalscorers, and none needed from Kane.
I don't think I can remember seeing so many grown men hugging each other as I have at the last few home games. With every goal the crowd just seems to go more and more ballistic. Absolutely brilliant!

Alli was worse today than vs pool bug scored a good goal

He shouldnt have been in the pitch the way he was playing but it says a lot for what he can do To get another goal

Dele just laughed when asked in the interview. "not my decision to make" so probably not a penalty.

I can only tell you what I saw with my own eyes. The bloke caught him. Penalty. He probably laughed at the stupidity of some hack trying to get him into hot water criticizing officials!
