***OMT: Mighty Spurs vs ManMour***

I know we got the goals in the first half, but I thought we played better in the 2nd half. We were brilliant 2nd half, didn't give them a sniff and we created chances to have scored at least 2 goals imo. 2-0 flattered Utd.

And Utd -- been saying it awhile, I think they are the worst team in the top 5 (though Chelsea seem to be trying to fall apart). No idea how they are 2nd, we can catch them I think.
 
What a performance. Masterclass from Eriksen. We contained them so easily for most of the match, and had we been more clinical, it could've been four or five.

Apart from Kane and Son, who were a little below par (but far from poor), that was a brilliant team effort from us. Special mention also to Dele, who worked his bloody ass off.

And a big LOL for the inferior Sanchez in the red shirt who didn't look anything like a £450.000 a week player.

Superb result for us, and with Chelski's collapse (massive LOL) we are now in contention for second place. The trip to Anfield is super important though - if we manage to get something there, we should be good enough to beat Arse (although I take nothing for granted).

But as always: One game at a time.

I've thought all season that United and Chelsea are picking up a lot more points than they should. Make that last season as well.

United are pretty brick going forward, they just bore their opponents into submission, but tonight they were a shambles at the back.

Mentioned it a few times over the last few days.

We played really well v Everton and United (Eriksen in)
Eriksen misses Soton and Newport. No coincidence for me, very important cog in our wheel
 
Magnifico, we were so up for this ! All the lads realise how big these two weeks are with our direct competition and the CL in such a short space of time.

Now to recover, regroup and reset with a new strategy v liverpoo at anfield ...

Was it you who said he was our most important player a few weeks back and I disagreed?

I still disagree but, if it was you, tonight gives you a very strong argument. Should shut hoddle up too who always says he never shows up in the big games.

Yes! liverpool only play one way. They have no second plan. As long as we dont try to take it to them like we did with city, play them like we did at Wembley as an away side in reality this time. Then I can see us getting a result. If we try to press them and play a high line we will get done.

Not sure if I said he was the most important, but he is up there with Kane for me. I just think we seem to 'tick' far better with him pulling the strings

Play smart and it will be an easy win, by 3/4 goals again.

Spot on.

yes, its great to play the 'Spurs way' and be entertaining, but these days its horses for courses. Last season we totally played it wrong. Sometimes you have to play it a different way. Hopefully we learned a lesson last season
