City’s left back was all over the place.Yeah, it was very odd, but goes a long way towards explaining why Sissoko shone at both ends.

It's so predictable that we would let in that early goal and fail to take our chances. Had we been clinical, we could've won this FFS.
For me it's these three things we need to avoid:
- Early goal from a mistake.
- Big, big chances missed.
- Subs brought on too late.
We look so much better with Winks, Alli and Eriksen on too - that trio will make us a better team obviously. Dembele doesn’t look his old self, and Moura could do with a rest too.
I think this should be the first eleven now (sorey Sissoko):
Lloris
Trippier - Sanchez - Toby - Davies
Dier - Winks
Lamela - Eriksen - Dele
Kane
For those that said we played well what did the keeper have to do?
Calling it now, the game where Sissoko turns the tide of majority opinion from the online Spurs fanbase.
Didn't help Erikson who got left behind by Bernardo a couple of timezFresh players against tiring ones are always going to look better. Winks really did well, turned the game in our favour. Plain and simple, we didn't take our chances.
7 games. At a place where our record isn't exactly poor.Plus side is we get to play our home games on that wonderful pitch until 2019!
Bit harsh. You do have a point, City can play better but thought we did well. Trippier is a poor defender. I’d rather Aurier. Lamela, id have banked on him scoring every time.
City’s left back was all over the place.
Disappointed to not get at least a deserved point tonight. But I'll echo all the positives mentioned previously. Winks looks hungry, snappy. Sanchez has that Ledley aspect to his game.
And forgive Lamela. He had to take that shot first time and the replays showed the ball bobbling as it rolled toward him.
Squad numbers beginning to thicken as we head for the grind of December. Vertonghen was definitely missed tonight. Second half rise in energy was good to see, too. Encouraging sight of Alli, Ericksen and Lamela looking lively.
Lots of time to get things rolling the way we want.
There's also the comforting sound of Liverpool supporters whining about us not gifting them first place.
City’s left back was all over the place.
Their RB was rubbish too, gave the ball away every time he touched it.
He could have got a great own goal at the end tooTheir RB was rubbish too, gave the ball away every time he touched it.
Because he'd foul someone on the edge of the box and get sent off?Why the fudge wasn't Hugo up for that corner?
If walker had put in a display like that tonight he would have got pelters.Their RB was rubbish too, gave the ball away every time he touched it.
Just want to put it out there that sissoko will not be that effective against defensive sides... but he was out MOTM tonight
