There's no quality on the continent

There's plenty of quality, but the football in the Premiership compared to Europe might as well be two different sports. No other league has a concentration of players with physical attributes like in England. European games become a lot more about who's better technically without having to be strong, fast, aggressive etc at the same time.

Execution to me is the whole play in the attacking area, not just the finishing. The execution of the patterns has been decent, finishing so far hasn't mateched that.

A move away from 4-2-3-1 allowing our wide forwards to play closer the the #9 and actually link up.

Yeah of course, the technical gap is never going to be massive but the physical ones can be and will then be the difference maker.

Not new to us obviously, we've been getting kicked out of games for decades.
