I hope he learns quick.Mason's team selection and subs smack of 'Old Boys Club'.
The scoreline makes it looks like it was a close final. In reality it was nothing like.
Fair result.
We move on!
So the player that should have been sent off scores the winner, from a free kick in a similar position to where we were denied a blatant one a bit earlier. Cheers ref you useless clam.
To get a good performance you need to have a coherent plan. You can't put a novice on charge and expect to beat the best team in the PL. Just relieved it was only 1-0.
Game was lost the minute, the second Sissoko came on for Lo Celso. That killed it, completely and finally.
Lo and behold, the stumbling oaf then loses Laporte at a free kick twenty minutes later.
I don't blame Mason for anything. This is only his second game, he didn't know how useless Sissoko is as a professional footballer.
But, learn lad. These are the things you need to learn - whom to rely on, who is a useless liability.
Thr other thing I was baffled about is how he took Lo Celso off and left Winks on for the whole game, but I suppose they're friends or something and Mason didn't have the heart to sub his useless mate. But, again - learning experiences.
Ah, well.
Kane and Son going isn’t the end of the world, we need to start a new cycle. They should be at top clubs where they don’t have to run much at this stage of their career. We need young hungry players for where we’re at.
Much as I love them both.
Can blame Kane just as much as Aurier

Kane? The Guy who wins games on his own? What did you think he could do today when the midfield was non existent? Novice manager against a well honed system equals one result.
To what...?
It really really wasn’t the ref’s fault.
We were awful but the ref didn't help. Difficult to praise City in any way when their sub bench costs more than most PL sides first 11. fudge them and their hollow success. To what...?
It really really wasn’t the ref’s fault.
Total crap. Replacing Kane with Lewandowski or prime Messi wouldn't have made a difference today. We had no midfield, next to no creativity and against arguably the best team in the world. When we need the points he doesn't turn up, same as Son. Lewandowski would have turned up in this game and thats the difference.
