That was on Grand National Day, I had £1ew on the winner Red Rum at 10-1, a good day as we won our home game that day as well.

I'm confused. Not about the Grand National but you say on the same day as the national 'we won our home game' when clearly the Liverpool game was a draw at Anfield?

I was playing club football between mid 60's to mid 80's it was that game I meant, remember listening to updates on radio in mates car on way to game. Missed lots of games at Spurs as no football league games on Sunday back then.
