Yes the storyline was not as strong this time, but subplots were planted and character development was at the forefront- which we might find permit a return to form in forthcoming seasons.

I really did enjoy those last few episodes though - perhaps because I watched week by week rather than binge-ing on it.

Lets hope so then because as i said i really did enjoy the first three series.
