With all the football available live these days I find most games not involving Spurs rather dull.

I totally agree with this, its almost overkill now

Earlier rounds can be. The semi finals aren't really. Four of the best teams in Europe. Not sure you can really overhype that.

I guess because better quality teams don't necessarily equal a more exciting match, or even a better quality match (in that good teams' superior offensive and defensive capabilities can cancel eachother out)....

I've seen nothing from this Bayern - Barca match that makes it better to watch than a lot of PL games...

i genuinely couldn't give a toss about the CL unless we're in it.

tbh i quite resent it as a competition because of the way the money has messed with domestic leagues
