**Official Other Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

Arsenal yet to play a home game on boxing day since moving to the death star.

Reading are going to be super super defensive v us. I can see it already

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

So Everton win or draw tomorrow? Fingers crossed.

Seems like Pardew doesn't learn from his mistakes, they basically played the same type of tactics today that they played at WHL last season, when we beat them 5-0.

Btw it's tinkling me off that teams go to the Emirates and defend like fudging brick and then sort it out when they come to White Hart Lane. Happens all the time, we rarely get a game when a crap team comes and plays a high line against us, but Arsenal get it all the time.

If Real Madrid is able push through its planned stadium expansion, the Bernabéu will become the third largest '5-star' stadium in the world. The aim is for the new ground to seat 93,000 fans, putting it behind only the Camp Nou (98,772) and the Azteca Stadium (105,000).

The Madrid fortress would thus outstrip all the world's other major grounds. The new Wembley houses 90,000, and is followed in capacity by the San Siro (87,500), the Olympic Stadium in Rome (85,000), the Soccer City Stadium (84,490), the Stade de France (81,000) and Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park (80,552).

'Los Blancos' are determined to add 10,000 extra seats in the new stadium, which will also feature a retractable roof and a new electronic panel system. Other details are still to be determined, including the best way for the club to foot the bill for the redevelopment. Some of the proposals incorporate a much more exclusive and luxurious VIP area like the one at the new Wembley, which generates €10 million a year by capitalising on the sections of the ground reserved for what Roy Keane famously called the "prawn sandwich phalanx".

The other main source of revenue will be the surrounding shopping centre, as the agreement with Madrid City Council means the club will be able to make use of extra space in the area around Paseo de la Castellana. The cost of the stadium will be between €200m and €250m with the hope of paying that off within 5 years. Getting full value out of these new commercial areas will be vital in the club's bid to write off the cost

If Cardiff get promoted they will be the 46th team to play in the PL meaning 50% of the entire league wouldve played in the top division for at least one season

They are starting to look certainties to come up, not that I agree with Welsh teams in the EPL, but what a game that promises to be next season Cardiff v Swansea

Really dont know with this. I suppose its whether you can consider us serious challengers for 3rd spot, or in a battle for 4th.

A 2goal win for Everton and we could say we're effectively be 6th as I dont see Arsenal and Chelsea losing their home games in hand.
A win for Chelsea and they are as good as 5pts ahead with Southampton at home as their game-in-hand

I'll take the draw so they both drop points.

Re: **Official Other Teams & Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

We really wasted a great chance to fight for league title this season. We probably would be closer to 1st if we had signed Moutinho or if ManU had not sign RVP. Think about all those lost points that we shouldn't have lost, especially at home to Norwich, WBA, Wigan and Stoke. We would have won them all if we had one player who could give us the cutting edge and break apart the defensive minded teams. Wish Levy had gone a bit extra mile to sign Moutinho who could have given us the winning edge.

ManU must be the luckiest club in the history of English league. Everytime they have been shyte, they always had 1 player who pulled them through. They are shyte again this season but have RVP to save them again and again. They have one of the worst defensive record in the league but are top due to RVP's goals. The Gooners are idiots for selling RVP to ManU. Really don't know why would teams sell their top player to their hated rivals. Arsenal did just that and will regret doing so unless they are happy to be ManU's feeder club.

Good to see the greatest fans in the world backing their players

You cannot blame them. They are just 3 points above relegation zone and they can't even sack their manager because he is on a long term contract !
