Barcelona's Lionel Messi was rushed to hospital after their 5-4 La Liga win over Deportivo La Coruna - to await the birth of his first child.
Barcelona director Andoni Zubizarreta revealed that star striker Messi - fresh from scoring a hat-trick in their dramatic league victory on Saturday - was off to hospital, but his fans had no reason to panic.

"Right now, Messi is going to the hospital, but it's for a good reason," Zubizarreta told Marca.

"Getting to meet your son is always something good.

"He played the entire match, scoring three goals. He's completely accustomed to the coming, going, travelling with the team and circumstances in a match to play every minute."

Shola Ameobi has scored 7 goals in his last 7 PL apps against Sunderland, who have only scored 8 in those games

I think that was very harsh.

It wasnt a tackle - more like a kick albeit a late kick and missed the ball. It wasnt really a tackle

Looked more of a mistimed kick at the ball than an over the ball challenge.

It's an odd one.

Tiote was delayed so much by Colback pulling him back, he would have won the ball easily if he wasn't being fouled. I don't think it was malcious from Tiote at well but you could say it was fairly dangerous....

This all day. If you watch tiote you can see he only has eyes for the ball.


However i can fully understand why he was sent off if you consider the ref's angle..
