We walked over them the last 30. Eriksen on, they tired, the crowd got going. We need that calm player in the middle, picking out passes. Eriksen has a way of playing on instinct which is sublime. He lets the ball run or protects it, then finds the opening. It's all very relaxed - too relaxed sometimes - but in a game like that it was pricless.

LeCelso, Alli, Sessegnon all to come...
 
I'd like to think that Poch was humble enough to realise he had made a mistake with his tactics and wise enough to have chosen the right formation and subs. And not that he had it forced on him because Winks needed to come off.

@milo, kwp for making the right-back issue look inconsequential.

But it was only Villa. If we lose CE and carry on like that against proper sides, this season will be as grim as the spring was.
 
We are Tottenham said:
Emirates Marketing Project have depth in their squad and they win things and have players that have class players.
We need the strongest squad that is possible for us as well if we are to have any chance of winning something.
Christian Eriksen is a much needed player at this point in time because the transfer window is over.
We desperately need depth in this squad to try to compete with the likes of Emirates Marketing Project.
Did you see how many goals should have been scored in that video of his..

Yep, had we started the season against PL opposition it would probably have been another embarrassing defeat.

So would I except this has been going on since last season.

Diamond midfield
2 up front
Kane playing everywhere but in the box.

It's like Poch got bored of watching us win a certain way and now wants to force through a new style to show how tactical he is.
