That is very important with Arsenal having an owner who won't spend and Chelsea one who seems to be having some doubts about his involvement. Liverpool are spending heavily and could struggle if they dropped out again. With United and City it doesn't really matter.

I’d have started a strong team and make changes once we were ahead

He even took off his first 11 players to save them for Wednesday

Their stuck with a worse financial position than us it seems
 
Every chance Poch leaves before we manage to win anything, we go back to square one and all these years of Cl football and the best Spurs side in many years will have won nothing. Noone cares or remembers who finished 2nd or 3rd.

Except the fans of Tottenham Hotspur. Who won the league cup two years ago? Who won the FA cup last year? I sure as hell don't remember (nor do I care)!
 
Of course I would've wanted more first teamers to have started but I have to say the way it panned out we could and should have won today if it hadn't of been for Sanchez's soft tackle on Schlupp and a stupid penalty given away. Dominated the game, overplayed it around their area when crying out for crosses and yet were a decent Trippier penalty and N'Koudou finish from staying in this competition.
 
I feel we have become victims of our own success. By competing at the top end of the league and CL, with less resources than our rivals had left us a tiny bit short in the cups. We went for the Carabao and took Tranmere seriously, that extra game and missing our main goal threats meant we had to rotate. Even then we had enough to win this game but individual errors cost us.
 
Our much-vaunted strength-in-depth is a bit of a myth, really. Games like this demonstrate it only too clearly. Never mind the rhetoric, we have a critical mass of 2 or 3 key players unavailable, depending on which ones, and it's a big issue in any game; more than that and it's almost like going back in time 25 years. We ain't doing anything about it this window though, so we'd just better hope we don't slide out of the top 4 next as well.

Who coaches the team
Who was the coach in charge when all the attackers were brought other than lamela
Or do we just think poch didn’t want any of these players?
