Rose was ok the bench so I assume he was fitI’m not a fan of it but he had played there before. sure davies would have got the nod if fit.

I think as fans we’d take it but if that one season meant a wage reduction for our top players, a smaller transfer budget (I know what’s smaller than 0 right?) and potentially the knock on effect of more seasons out of it it becomes a big setback in where we are aiming to be.
Plus every year we are in the CL we are depriving another rival team that income
Fair enough Poch! ;-)
Which first 11 non injured, non knackered players, exclusively from your first 11, were you putting out today then?
I reckon Harry and Dele would have really struggled tbh.
That is very important with Arsenal having an owner who won't spend and Chelsea one who seems to be having some doubts about his involvement. Liverpool are spending heavily and could struggle if they dropped out again. With United and City it doesn't really matter.
Every chance Poch leaves before we manage to win anything, we go back to square one and all these years of Cl football and the best Spurs side in many years will have won nothing. Noone cares or remembers who finished 2nd or 3rd.
Except the fans of Tottenham Hotspur. Who won the league cup two years ago? Who won the FA cup last year? I sure as hell don't remember (nor do I care)!
I’d have started a strong team
FACupexit seems to have divided this board in the same way Brexit has divided the nation!
Isn’t hindsight wonderful? If only we could back and make different decisions to see if it changes the result...There’s a reasonable argument to be had in retrospect about the Denmark option, certainly.
I’d have started with KWP, Toby, Foyth, Jan and RoseWhich ones?
not injured but by far our strongest option for the league and CL games ahead so I guess only on there as an emergency in case of an injury to KWP.Rose was ok the bench so I assume he was fit
I feel we have become victims of our own success. By competing at the top end of the league and CL, with less resources than our rivals had left us a tiny bit short in the cups. We went for the Carabao and took Tranmere seriously, that extra game and missing our main goal threats meant we had to rotate. Even then we had enough to win this game but individual errors cost us.
