I agree with that, although I also think the amount they wanted was too high.

if they have to pass on a huge fee that's their problem, nobody else's. They agree that deal in the first place.

When you've had zero shots on target at home and have looked unable to string together more than 2 passes, I don't think two changes is two much to be honest.

You are right. Same as us having to pay on sell-on fees for Modric and other players. He may have been overpriced, but is a player work 25m euro (imo) which I accept was always going to be a major stretch.
 
Livermore plays deeper than Sandro. My guess is that he's there to help out with the area in front of defence - because of Gallas!
