Ref was the difference. No Xavi and Romero shouldn't have made their rash challanges. But when you don't even get a review for 2 hands in the back, and the refs initial yellow for Simons was just, I think we can feel agrieved.
Play back the video of Van dyke stepping on Simons and the two hands in the back of Romero, and ask where VAR was then.

Have no clue what to make of that. A fudging stupid game.
Thought Spence and Bentancur were excellent. Xavi and Romero were beyond brainless. Kudus looks a shadow of the player I thought we had. Kolo Muani was a fudging disgrace. He didn’t even try. Richarlison was also very good when he came on.
They were absolute dogbrick. Truly awful, they’ll lose a few more this season.
Palace and Brentford away next. Not because of today but Frank can’t afford two defeats.
Missed opportunity today I think.
