***Official Match Thread Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool Sat. 20th Dec. 5:30pm***

I’m not too bad, actually - probably around 70% in the positive result column.

I did get up to about 8 or 10 games a season until a couple of years ago, at which point I had en epiphany about how much a day out at the match was actually costing me. Since then, I’ve dialled back on attendance (usually go 3 or 4 times a season now) and spend a bit more on going to gigs and to the cinema.
Bet you are a little richer and happier for it. Why spend £200 to see no effort when you can stay at home or go the pub or go on holiday

Hoping that’s more like it.

Hope he is okay and recovers quickly. That sounds a painful one.

Thanks, luckily he did it on way home and had an appointment booked with his consultant on Tuesday morning to arrange treatment on his knee which needed surgery, consultant gave him injection which has reduced pain and will help him through the holiday period.

Bloody hell he was playing for us when I first went to Spurs, bit old to be reffing, but I suppose bad eyesight, being unable to keep up with the game and diminished decision making isn't a handicap for most of the refs.

Oh dear I looked up to see how old Johnny was and he passed away 9 years ago aged 85, still wouldn't stop him from taking charge of a PL game though.

My son fell getting off train at Cannon Street and tore his meniscus in right knee on Monday, that's him and his son not going and my eldest grandson is going up to Norfolk to visit his mum and dad, that's 3 who wont be there.
Sorry to hear that.

Just woke this morning and my son is unwell with some sort of virus so that’s two more not going.

I just saw a quick interview with Frank on SKY....

Towards the end of it, Frank said that he has a structure and a plan and that you cant change it...... When you are 2 or 3 down away at Forest and playing absolute rubbish, surely it must be time to question that structure and plan....

When he had finished speaking, and about a second before the interview ended, he smiled nervously at the camera.... I'm not sure he was even convinced by what he was saying.

It reminded me of Nuno in one of his first interviews at Spurs when he told us he would make us proud etc. He also smiled nervously and, of course, we all know how it ended....

Anyway, COYS.
