Stars vs Avalanche up in about 2 minutes. ESPN+ - rivals fighting for the top spot. It’s going to be a hell of a game.

Late to the party but this was a great game, real playoff vibes to it and a lovely little win and shutout for the Avs.

Think we need another win or two to guarantee the President's Trophy, all good for the seeding.

Yeah, a great game. That pass from Lehky to Marty, and Marty’s reaction - damn, hang it in the Louvre! Hoping we get revenge against the Blues tonight. Would be nice to get the President Trophy.

The Stanley Cup playoffs started tonight. Carolina just beat Ottawa in the first game. Carolina the second best team of the regular season - Ottawa getting into the playoffs through a wildcard. A very tight game! I thought Carolina would dominate more - they won 2-0, but Ottawa looked sharp.

Avs vs Kings tomorrow! No fudge ups, boys!

Avs looked ok, on another night we could have absolutely smashed them to bits, but GT looked solid, controlled most of the game, hopefully tomorrow night we can smash em up and go to their barn 2-0.

Good to see Buffalo and Philly go 1-0 up too, hope they both their their series.

This! I don't understand it, and I've been questioning NHL fans about it for years, but people have just gotten mad at me for doing so. If you're into hockey and live in the US, you very likely have an NHL team you follow - then all of a sudden, a new franchise rolls into town, and you just change your team!? What? I just don't get it. I see how it's convenient, of course, but to just change loyalty like that - it's weird.

There have been some great playoff games so far, by the way. Carolina went through last night, swept Ottawa. Colorado could sweep Kings tonight, but there's also Buffalo vs Boston at a time where it's possible for us euros to watch. It's fun to see Buffalo back in the playoffs.

I don't think there's a place in the US more starved or desperate for one of their Sports teams to win something than Buffalo, good luck to em, not at the expense of the Avs though!

Absolutely! I remember them being glued to the bottom of the table for so long now they deserve a bit of a run.

World Champs starting today in Switzerland. Always good stuff.

Britain's campaign to avoid immediate relegation back to 1A starts tomorrow morning against Austria.

Sweden vs Canada (3-5) was a cracker of a game! Norway playing (losing) their first game tomorrow against Slovakia.

In other news - Avalanche will play the Golden Knights in the western conference final. I think if Avs win that, we'll win the cup. Carolina will be tough, but I reckon Vegas is the hardest team left. Cale Makar out injured as well, I really hope he can recover quickly.

Norway just beat neighbor, big brother and arch rival Sweden for the first time ever (well, after regulation, we beat them on pens in 2011) in the World Cup. Two goals while penalty killing. Insane. The Norwegian commentator started crying live on TV. Haha. I’m trying to find the football equivalent, but can’t. Rochdale beating Emirates Marketing Project in the FA cup final or something.

Norway smacking the brick out of fudging Czech Republic - 4-1! One great goal after another. Czech raging at the end, embarrassed at being absolutely shat on by tiny Norway. We have a golden generation brewing. fudging hell! Didn’t think I’d live to see Norway with a fudging good hockey team.

Britain's run went as predicted, 7 defeats. The Hungary result was disappointing, the rest entirely expected.

Avs absolutely bricking the bed in the WCF, very disappointing.

Yeah, Bednar doesn't do well with teams "parking the bus" on the blue line. It doesn't help to have Makar out either. I hope he'll be able to play tonight. It's not over yet! If it's anything we've learned from the past few months it's that. Win tonight and we go home, win that one and it's 3-2 and we got momentum. Just win tonight and we could be starting something.

Norway beat Latvia to go into the semi finals of the World Cup for the first time ever. Unheard of! Who the hell would’ve thought. Without a doubt the biggest day in the history of Norwegian hockey. Crazy. A seriously talented young squad. I’m sat here with goose bumps. Damn!

3-2 Norway vs fudging Canada in the bronze final and we win our first ever World Cup medal! Insane, just fudging insane. Crosby, Celebrini, Tavares, Scheifele, O’Reilly and all the other NHL studs: you’ve got nothing on this Norway team! Wooooo! Just incredible.

I just want to know when Mighty Ducks 4 is going to be made? :D....
