Back in the 50's every other film released seemed to be a western and my dad loved a cowboy film so we went to them all, I went with a mate to our local flea pit to see Calamity Jane little knowing it was a musical.

Ford vs Ferrari was a good watch. I'm actually impressed by how many decent films I've watched this year, compared to last. However, do not for a second consider watching a movie called Argylle.

Why did the Americans retitle that film? Did they think the original Le Mans 66 sounded a bit like a old gay porno?

I think the original title was Ford vs. Ferrari, it was changed in UK/Europe due to different trademark rules or something along those lines.

I assumed the original title was Ford v Ferrari as it’s an American film and it was titled Le Mans 66 for the European market? I agree Le Mans 66 is a much better name though.

The opposite for me, Ford v Ferrari is a much better title IMO.
