To bring it back to actual films as opposed to potential stunts in an award show (that nonetheless bring out intriguing opinions in how people should interact)
Over the last two nights i’ve rewatched Gangs of New York and watched Lego Batman for the first time. Whilst not necessarily on the same level I enjoyed both films supremely..
I wasn’t trying to find similarities but it must be said that both have stellar casts, everyone seems perfect for the role they’re doing, I’d completely forgotten about Stephen Graham being in Gangs of New York and does make me wonder whether he is human as he doesn’t seem to have aged much since then.
As for Lego Batman, for a rated U film there was a lot of real life in there and was an entertaining watch, I thoroughly enjoyed the batman but was nice to see the whole premise played less seriously.
