Still not visited an Everyman but the sofas do look nice.

Hopefully my local Odeon fleapit gets one of these Luxe refits soon, as can’t be dealing with threadbare seating for movies lasting over 2 hours.

A new Vue opened near me, every single seat/screen is like that. Big comfy reclining seats with the table. Btilliant.

Not "Luxe" or anything, thats just the standard. £8 a ticket. BARGAIN!

Nice  Vue do seem to be better value than Odeon. Their multiplex in my neck of the woods is just £5.99 a ticket (about half the cost of local rivals) but has old fashioned seating and no IMAX or Dolby Atmos screens; otherwise I’d be very tempted to cancel my Cineworld Unlimited membership.

This ones a new build so its all mod-cons (though no IMAX).

Best bit is my Mrs can buy Vue tickets via a work perks thing for £4(something)!

Just watched a bang average film on Sky called Blue Iguana, its a comedy caper film set in London with a couple of american actors in lead roles, but it has the best scene I've seen in years. In the Natural History Museum the heros are about to rob an other gang and their lookout man is reading a copy of The Star which has the following headlines on the back page, SPURS WIN CHAMPS LEAGUE AGAIN followed by DISMAL GOONERS RELEGATED, oh how I wish.

Just booked to see Hellboy on Tuesday, loved the original's and this looks a bit darker, it's an 18

Also booked up for Avengers on the 25th as well, 3 hours long !!!

The Rise of Skywalker then !!!

Great 1st trailer with a major major character seemingly back

"Great" - not the word I would choose!

"Meh" more like.

This is, for me, confirmation (if ever it was needed) that Star Wars is basically the most cynical property out there. Its playing on nostalgia to get people in rather than being creative.

Palpatine? Really? fudging Lando? (who even cares about him?)

Luke died, but he's in it anyway.

Lets bring back a familiar face, cue the music, voice over - kerching!

It is clear that they had no plan for this trilogy at all, and have (IMO of course) tinkled the whole thing up the wall.

If you're at all interested in the Marvel superheroes films, then you will almost certainly view Endgame as an absolute triumph.
Saw a midnight screening and was very satisfied by so so much of it.
