after that I had a free £5 bet on a Twiston-Davis horse at 25/1 in the 6th race but that came 2nd as well. If I had gone to Worecster today and done a placepot I think it would have paid about £1800.
 
Went into Ladbrokes today and done my usual betting on the roulette wheel. Today was a good day. I have £8 on zero, £4 on 26 and 32 then £2 on 3, 35, 12, 28, 15, 19, 4 and 21. In 8 spins I had

Loser, 0, 26, loser, 15, 19, 0, 15.

£680 up in 8 spins (3 minutes or so)

Quality day.
 
Some guy came in today and put £660 on united to finish top 4 at 1/33. Obviously he knew he was only making a score so I asked him why. He said he'd won a few quid online and feared he'd lose it all and putting it in his bank he could access it straight away. He said he wanted a certain bet so that his money would be safe and untouchable til May when he was going to Australia! Genius!!
