Newmarket tomorrow for the July Cup! Fancying Strong Suit at the moment (and with the value), but need to have a proper study tonight. The drop back to six furlongs will be a massive benefit, only won over six and seven. Up against Frankel over a mile after 200 odd days off at Royal Ascot so that can be forgiven now back in trip.

This weather is fudging National Hunt weather! So many NR's.

I am having concerns about Strong Suit now as it has been said before the horse does not like the ground. But the horse can stay a mile which would mean it's stamina would help it plod through today's bog.

Fire Lily is looking good now having won on soft recently, and an outsider like The Cheka will also like the ground.

I went to Newmarket on Thursday, first time at the Gee's Gee's. Really good fun, started to get carried away with the betting, as you do in that atmosphere, but came our £40 up so not too bad. Ladies day as well, so the totty was through the roof.
