I think international football can still be the best type of football for drama etc. wait till the world cup comes round next year.

better than watching spurs tinkle their champions league hopes up the wall every year

Would have been interesting to see him vs Scotty P in a full blooded harsh but fair match. I was expecting to see a Henderson, Wisdom, Shelvey call up, but even Sterling is in the u21s.

Apparently that is his excuse for not picking Ferdinand. Just reeks of the senior player picking their mates. Don't be surprised to see Terry come out of retirement at some point too.
