O/T Capello Resigns / New England Manager Speculation Thread

I couldn't give a flying fudge about the England team... but Spurs are my life. I'll be absolutely gutted if Harry leaves us now. But also worried about him being announced as next England manager before the end of the season. It could have the same disastrous effect as Ferguson announcing his retirement at Man Utd a few years back.

Oh, and before I go to bed..........

To whoever it was that said venables tactics were stuck in the 80s...............even though it will rile Mick, I totally agree.
And venables is 10x the crook that Harry ever was. He destroyed people (business wise) who had dedicated their lives to Spurs. I used to worship him like many, until I read what he actually got up to, with other peoples money (allegedly).

Hiddink won't come to Spurs because he still gets paid by Abramovich for 'consultancy' work?????

But, surely he could resign from that contract?............a bit like that England manager resigned today. You know.....whatsisname.......

Really proud the FA had the balls to strip the Captaincy, and get rid of that moaning c*** Capello, just really unfortunate we're about to lose our second greatest manager ever..

Yes i am aware of that. I don't get why his basic comment deserved applause but it doesn't matter anymore now.

I'll tell you why, as he said what alot of what people thought of that Mark Perryman was talking about... absolutley gonads he was spouting.

FURIOUS Fabio Capello says he quit as England boss after the FA "insulted" him.

Capello launched a stunning broadside at his former employers after walking out on the ?ú6million-a-year Three Lions job.

The Italian was fuming when FA chiefs went over his head to strip John Terry of the England captaincy last week.

And Capello tonight raged: "They really insulted me and damaged my authority.

"What really hit me and forced me to take this decision was the fact the much-vaunted Anglo-Saxon sense of justice, as they are the first to claim that everyone is innocent until proven guilty.

"In Terry's case, they gravely offended me and damaged my authority at the head of the England side, effectively creating a problem for the squad.

"I have never tolerated certain crossing of lines, so it was easy for me to spot it and take my decision to leave
