No Spurs v West Brom omt yet? Can this be it?

I’m beginning to wonder if life after Poch is rapidly approaching. He has said some strange things of late and the players don’t seem particularly fudged.

I’ve a feeling he will go this summer. And I’m no longer sure that is the worst thing.

Any proposed new employer will not be too impressed with him since we went out of the CL.
If he goes he goes, maybe the next guy will be little more forthright with substitutions.

If he goes, we will miss him. His awful record with subs aside, he's a minor miracle worker - the desperate dip in form recently shouldn't obscure that.

I think it's far too early to be talking about Poch going and it being a good thing.

However, I do wonder if he will soon start getting the same accusations that were thrown at Redknapp saying that he is underachieving with the players he has (Kane, Eriksen, Dele, Toby, Jan etc).

He is a very good manager, but he is no way ready for a Super club, he will be dumped out within a year or so.

Emery won the EL three years in a row and could not handle PSG, why would a manager that has not won anything?

I am sure he would win the league there, but they want the CL.

20 - Spurs have now lost 20 Premier League games thanks to goals scored in the 90th minute - more than any other side in the competition. Drama.

Forever bottle jobs

I hope Poch stays, despite his mistakes. I seriously doubt we’ll get a better coach and more importantly one who has a hope of keeping this squad together

No Poch and I can see us playing dour mid table games against woolwich

Of course it is too early, but the guys on here make me laugh!
Start throwing thier toys out of the perambulator!:)

I’m no longer sure about that. What I am sure of is that Mourinho would have won the FA Cup semi final with our squad.

As I’ve said before, I think we are now a seriously attractive proposition for most managers

Don't get me wrong - I wanted Mourinho to become our manager at multiple points over the last decade.

Maybe still do.

But that 'maybe' is because of Poch. My feeling is that there's only so much he can do, in the end. We are bottlers. It is what we do, it is what we are. And even the greatest manager can only stave that off, I think - not defeat it forever.

We're never going to be the club with a Leicester-esque fairytale story, because we self-sabotage to actively prevent that happening. So who can blame Poch for moving mountains, only to fall short at the end?

Even with our limited player wage bill and the potential new stadium austerity? We are not going to get a ‘top’ manager. More likely another up and comer with potential who lots on here will want out when we hit a bad patch of form.

I would win the league at PSG with a good team of interpretators! ;)

Wow. Some serious reaction on here. Not seen any of the game so not criticising the reaction. But end of the road for Poch seems extreme.
Seems that semi final defeat knocked the stuffing out of the team and Poch too.
Two home games to pick ourselves up. Still in our control.

But we can't keep losing a big game once or twice a season then being down in the dumps and go on a poor run all the time. It happens too frequently, these players are moving into a new stadium next season and we need CL football to go with it.

We now have to win both of our remaining games to qualify most likely.
