Wasn't the rumour that he turned Ar5ena1 down because Wenger saw him as a DM?

Tbh billy he'll play wherever we feel he is best suited. I am not one for rumours. Rumour has it that he doesn't want to play lb but he plays there for Belgium a lot of the time.

I think Verts is often too flaky and casual in his defending. If we get a decent DM, i'd drop him and try Dier alongside Alderwiereld...

Also, as someone else said previously, it is worrying that our CB pair play full-back for the same country...

I'm not as worried by that, especially with the way we pass out from the back, we need players who are capable on the ball. If Belgium had good fullbacks mind, Verts and Jan would probably be backup CB's.

it was amazing how many times Stoke players got in between the defenders and had free headers

i think we are still going to concede a lot of goals this season
