And you'd seriously rather have him than Mourinho or Hiddink?

Yes. I would not want Mourinho anywhere near Spurs, if he didn't get his own way he would moan and tinkle off at the first oppurtunity. Hiddink will be at Chelsea next season, so no point discussing him really. Let's keep with the British managers.

Who do you wan't is pointless as you could say SAF for example, it just isn't going to happen, nor in my opinion will Jose.

To get Jose you will need to pay him a massive salary, you will need to fund his transfer purchases and the player salaries that would follow on. We would need Joe Louis to fund the club with half a billion pounds over a few seasons, and I just don't see that happening.

I would like to see Brendan Rodgers given a chance, though I doubt it will happen.

There was a recent quote from JM......I'll try and find it later.

He said his next job would not be motivated by financial reward, he wanted more of a project....(hate that word)

I eluded to this idea earlier.

There is a common stigma with Mourinho (not undeserved) that he only goes to the richest clubs in the league and [surprise, surprise] gets success.

I think his ego dictates that he prove otherwise.

Also, think about it, his last jobs have all be extremely high pressure affairs. Chelsea, Rusian oligarch demanding success after millions spent, off of the back of an underdog victory in the CL. Goes to Inter, one of Italys biggest clubs, folliwing Mancini who had done it all over there except the CL, then to Madrid - no comment required.

A smaller club, where he would be able to build and grow, where he could really show his managerial ability to its fullest could, IMO, appeal.

We would fit that bill perfectly. Are punching at a high level, without all the baggage of the clubs with expectation, have an excellent squad and the funds to improve it sensibly. A London location, a great fanbase and a supportive chairman. There is lot going for us, for him, IMO.

Worse than Shearer, Adams, Kinear...

Kinnear has a good record with Wimbledon and Saudi Sportswashing Machine did decent enough while he was there, the other two have barely managed in the PL.

Given the amount of money Bruce has spent and the poor results he's achieved, I'd say he's way worse.

Mourinho, like Ancelotti, has chosen his clubs so he can win things. At Chelsea he did it with money, but other clubs have shown that money alone isn't enough. He inherited a good Inter side and made them better. Winning the CL was a massive overachievement. At Real he has to better Barca while keeping a group of super egos in check.

Gooners on my Facebook literally laughing at the thought of JM coming to little ol Tottenham! What more chance of going to them??? They get better and better those clowns.

Gooners are in denial. They just refuse to accept that Spurs can achieve things.

I don't think there's much chance of him coming here either, not that I think there's much more chance he'd go to Arsenal though. Coming to us would be a pretty big risk as we're hardly an established top side yet and if we fall back down the ladder then he'll look bad, all managers like him want to do is walk into the top job with piles of money, win a trophy or two and pad his c.v. It's the reason why I can't stand people using what managers have won as a way of comparison, Harry's won fack all relatively but only because he's never had the opportunity to manage a club that can realistically win something - until us, kind of.
