Next Manager?

Just had a thought: Paratici as DoF from Juventus, Portuguese manager… maybe it’s all to sign Christiano Ronaldo on the cheap ;)

Trouble he's struggled to really deliver except in a one horse league. Will back him but deeply underwhelmed
His Roma side always failed to beat the better sides in Italy. This is a woefully underwhelming appointment. DOF does not look like the correct appointment either. Shambles

Jesus Christ.

Bargain bin is as bargain bin does - bottom of the barrel, this bloke.

Legitimately think Roberto Martinez, terrifyingly inept as he is, would be better than this. Graham Potter, of 16th placed Brighton, would be better.

In fact, I wonder if that is that cheap c*nt of a chairman's plan - leak this guy so suddenly the thought of those two losers taking over doesn't sound quite so bad.

The underhwleming bit will be a challenge for both Fonseca and Partici. Fonseca needs a decent first few months or at least signs of improvement, and Paratici needs a decent window. Rightly or wrongly, the stick will begin quickly without that

Makes you realise how much the other names that we have been linked would now be really welcome.
Hoping for Campos and Poch ended up with Patricia and Fonseca.

This is Daniel Levy all over. I hope people see that - if this bloke comes, this is what the main priority was, none of those risible lies about pursuing Conte or the club leaking to Alasdair Gold that the top candidate 'would test the club's financial resolve'.

This is bargain bin. This is the cheapest option.

This is what Daniel Levy is, and always has been.

Care for Spurs? You're having a f*cking laugh.

Christ. Paulo Fonesca, the man who lost, what, 7-2 to Ole Gunnar Soslkjaer?

There's an argument to be had that if we're now looking for the long-term, rather than appointing a manager for today, that we take the £150m-£200m for Kane any pay down the debt. Wheel and deal to improve the team where we can but improve the ability to compete in the market in future years
