We'd only be going top because we play first. We wouldn't stay there. Lots of early Saturdays for us in April.

my worry is that as soon as we hit top everyone else will fall away knowing they are well beaten and we'll have it so easy for a couple of months that we'll lose our edge and not be at our best for the CL

Theres a big psychological aspect to that as well though.
Bird in the hand and that. Us and Liverpool going toe to toe, we get the 3 points at lunchtime - they have added pressure on their evening game...
Kind of thing.
Personally I think right now its Citys to lose, but theres a good chance we can get past Liverpool.
Depending on when (if) we do that, lets see how far we are off top...

Said the other day, and stand by it, its going to be horrible.
I hated their attitude in the home game, we know exactly what we will get in the away.
Time wasting was a particular theme with them.
