I’ll be sending you my invoice for the additional hours worked due to the failure, I might also be looking for compensation if my work notices the increased productivity and behinds to expect it every week
 
Liverpool crowned champions caused the servers to crash and burn.

It was awful not being able to access the site. I even had to resort to talking with the wife!

Also, would it be an idea for the mods to make a twitter account for info when brick like this happens?

This is all well and good, as long as people acknowledge that everything I posted on Thursday was of the absolute highest quality and if it still existed people far and wide would've been still discussing that gold content at length. And now onwards to the politics and BLM threads to post "Can't we all just get along?!?!?!" as if that is a genuinely useful thing to post.

Are you hosting the site on your own now, or is it the fudgetacos still? Anyway, uploading files is not possible. Just wanted to tell you.

Still them for now. It was quicker to restore newer data to their month old image than to rebuild the server, all the CDNs, the caching functions, etc.

I think the upload issue is a permissions thing, probably related to the restore. I'll take a look tomorrow

Yeah I was also trawling Twitter as could’ve sworn there was something back in the day but all I could find were some old posts from chav and goon tacos.

Thank's Scara well done, just as a matter of interest i still have the "Just Giving" banners on the right side of the page, is it the same for everyone???
 
We have a FB and one guy always posts on there when we are down. He did again the other day and nobody responded. We need a twitter account but which clam will manage it?
