New Years Eve

I love sag paneer. Make it quite often when we feel like having a vegi meal.

Anyway I don't hold anything against Rock. He was on a wind up and was never in Kenya.

You can pop around anytime. So can any GG guys who happen to come to Mombasa.

The ocean will still be there, and I can cook the same or better meal. All on the house of course.

I'm going to hold you to that KS. The way my partner and I travel there's every chance we'll be seeing you within the next couple of years! Thanks for the open invite and wish you and your family/friends a great evening.

I think the best idea for this evening is always a private affair in a comfortable setting. I stopped going 'out out' after the age of 19-20.

Problem with NYE is that everything is geared up towards midnight and there's so many idiots out that wouldn't usually be out. Much better when you can drink at your usual pace and everyone aren't out traveling somewhere at the same time.

Amateur night. Hopefully there won't be too many where I am going

House party at a friend's house with a couple of bands playing and DJ's into the night - will be pretty sweet, I reckon. :)

For some reason I've never found New Year's Eve to be "overrated", I think it's pretty good every time. It's basically just a chance to meet up with a lot of friends and have a party. I don't know what everyone's expecting of New Year's to be honest, it's just another night with some fireworks. I've personally yet to hear anyone actually having huge expectations for New Year's, more people tend to say it's overrated - so I'm a bit puzzled as to who's overrating it, and how that can continue to be a thing, unless you somehow keep expecting it to be a blast every year.

Prodigy at the o2

I like the look of this but tickets were £70.

Having a few people round mine, can see the eye from my roof terrace so just watch the fireworks. Got some nice food and booze in and that will do me nicely.

Not a big fan of going out on New Years, too many crowds and idiots around.

That being said me and the missus are meeting a few other people for a meal at the local steak and seafood restaurant and then going back to our mates for drinks and games of some kind. After tonight my liver/stomach is getting a well deserved rest because they've been through a lot this past week \o/

Have a great one whatever you're up to this evening!

You do know Fire is a gay club right KD?...

Me? I'll be on Tulum beach in Mexico watching MANDY, Tiefswarz and a whole host of others at the Flying Circus NYE party

Smug face

Happy new year to all!

No ...not tonight it isn't. I checked this **** out again and again and again because i'm aware they usually do 'gay nights'. Don't scare me like that again please billy, thanks.

Nice relaxing one with a few Jameson's on ice.

Daughter wanted a game of Monopoly which we've just finished (the credit card one is much better btw!) so she's now upstairs on her ipad and we'll settle down for a movie. We're going to watch 50/50 I think.

I'm happy.

Happy New Year folks!

Happy New Year to you all...

I've stopped the big celebrations years ago - probably because I'm used to being asleep by 10pm thanks to being a dad

As a kid, we'd all have family get togethers and play bingo etc, very nice times...

Not really in the mood this year as mum is stuck in North Midd Hospital and quite poorly...

It is really scarey to think that I still remember the BBC 1980 graphics on a black and white TV! I hate getting older :(

Anyhoo!!!

Have fun all! :)

watched the social network with the missus interspersed with resettling the baby

don't make a big deal of it myself (which is why I'm on the sofa reading GG right now), it may be constant but time is also relative, just another trip around the star which will one day destroy everything
